ACT Leader Rodney Hide today called on Helen Clark to stand down yet another Cabinet Minister while a proper investigation is undertaken of the allegations by Investigate Magazine against Attorney-General David Parker.
"The allegations are serious. They are especially so when levelled against the Attorney-General.
"The allegations need investigation. It's only proper that Hon David Parker stand down while the investigation is conducted.
"The Attorney-General's job is the government's administration of the law. The person in the job must be beyond reproach. That's why the allegations made by Investigate magazine are so serious," said Rodney Hide.
