Carter to decide on Whangamata Marina on Tuesday
The final date for Conservation Minister Chris Carter to make a decision on the Whangamata Marina is Tuesday March 7.
The extension of time follows an offer by Mr Carter to the Whangamata Marina Society for an extension of time to enable Mr Carter to consider further information from the society. That offer was made by the minister last week, and was taken up today by the society.
Mr Carter will not be commenting on any aspect of the marina proposal until he has made a final decision.
