Another National Flip Flop While NZF Gets On With The Job – Peters
"National's latest flip flop on its nuclear policy (we have lost count of just how many there have been) is just another
example of where National is forced to rethink its policy programme while New Zealand First just gets on with
implementing theirs," say the Rt Hon Winston Peters.
"It wasn't quite by lunchtime, but their policy is certainly gone.
"Just like their Treaty policy and the more extreme aspects of their tax policy, National is only really highlighting
that they could never have delivered in government and the majority of the electorate got it right in not voting them
in.
"New Zealand First on the other hand is translating its policies into reality. From the increased super for seniors on 1
April this year through to 1000 extra front line police and a myriad of other policy gains we are making the lives of
New Zealanders better.
"On a more positive note for National, it is pleasing to see that they have finally adopted the 'mainstream' view on
this matter, and let's hope for the betterment of the country that they adopt equally sensible measures on other
critical foreign policy matters," concluded Mr Peters.
