Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
It's been a grand year in politics and next year promises to be only a bit less interesting. Now it's time to turn it all off for a few weeks. The English household is just gearing up for Christmas with our two large extended families and organising our way through holiday jobs, holidays, family weddings and the summer family pilgrimage to Southland.
Thanks for your interest in National and in Plain English.
May you and your loved ones enjoy all the blessings of Christmas and the excitement of a new start in the new year.
