Brown Pleased With Progress On Pensions
New Zealand First Deputy Leader Peter Brown is pleased with indications from the Minister of Social Development and Employment, that an investigation into improving options for senior citizens eligible for overseas citizens pensions as well as New Zealand Superannuation is progressing well.
The investigation was part of the Government’s Confidence and Supply Agreement with New Zealand First.
“This is an issue that has long needed addressing and I am pleased that the Government has moved swiftly to initiate an investigation,” said Mr Brown.
“I look forward to further news from the Minister as the details of the report emerge”.
