National Party Leader Don Brash is paying tribute to Rod Donald after his sudden death overnight.
“It is with great shock that I learned of Mr Donald’s death.
“I wish to offer my deepest condolences to his family, his friends, and his colleagues.
“Despite disagreeing on some policies, I admired Rod as a hugely principled, honest and capable man, with a passion and a drive to represent his beliefs and speak his mind.
“Parliament will not be the same place without him,” says Dr Brash.
