And the winner is ……!!!
United Future leader, Peter Dunne, today released his list of the worst behaved MP’s in the Parliament of 2002 – 2005.
MP’s are awarded one point for being asked by the Speaker to withdraw and apologise; three points for being thrown out
of the House and five points for the most severe punishment, being named by the Speaker.
Mr Dunne said “He may not be winning in Tauranga, but with a total of 63 points, Winston Peters is a bolter in the
Parliamentary bad boy stakes.
“National’s Nick Smith comes in ten points behind – the only MP to reach double digits in being tossed out of Parliament
– while the minor positions are fought over by Labour’s Trevor Mallard, National’s Gerry Brownlee and ACT’s Rodney
Hide.”
