New pamphlets perpetuate lies
The Green Party is disappointed that the Exclusive Brethren 'Secret Seven' have continued to repeat their lies about Green policy in another pamphlet being delivered this week.
Co-Leader Rod Donald says a new 'Green Delusion' pamphlet repeats the falsehood that the Green Party's policy includes the introduction of a capital gains tax on family homes.
"This is an outright lie and they know it.
"The pamphlet also contains other allegations which can only be described as gross exaggerations. Those concerned about the claims can check out our website, which contains a comprehensive statement and rebuttal." See www.greens.org.nz/searchdocs/other9194.html.
"I can't imagine why these Exclusive Brethrens would continue to waste their money on this campaign of lies and half-truths now that everyone is aware of what they are up to," Mr Donald says.
