How many roads will go Pete?
National Party Transport spokesman Maurice Williamson is again urging Pete Hodgson to tell motorists how many roads Labour will sacrifice in any coalition deal with the Greens.
"Pete Hodgson and Labour are talking about road spending as if they'd already built the roads. Everyone knows that is not the case.
"The reality is that the Greens want to freeze the recently announced increase in road funding, and they are philosophically opposed to the public private partnerships that will allow roads to be built quickly.
"Pete Hodgson can promise as many roads as he likes, knowing that in any coalition with the Greens they will never be built," says Mr Williamson.
