ACT Leader Rodney Hide and ACT MP Kenneth Wang today unveiled ACT's new billboard that highlights the danger of Winston
Peters holding the balance of power after the election.
The billboard - fronted by Kenneth Wang - shows Winston Peters playing king or queen-maker to Don Brash and Helen Clark
and warn that any government with NZ First will be a recipe for chaos.
Located in Wellington, it's believed to be the first political billboard in New Zealand to have a nearly all-Chinese
message on them.
"Peters has time and again proven himself to be a racist xenophobe who will do and say anything to win votes," Mr Hide
said.
"A couple of weeks ago I called on Labour and National to rule out any place for NZ First in coalition government. Both
so far have refused.
"Don Brash and Helen Clark should condemn Peters' racist politics and rule out dealing with him. He only has power
because National and Labour are prepared to deal with him".
The billboard also warns that tax cuts will be off the agenda if National needs NZ First to form the next government.
"Hardworking New Zealanders can kiss goodbye to tax cuts if National does a deal with Peters. NZ First's unsustainable
superannuation bribe will make tax cuts unaffordable.
"The only way for Kiwis to stop Winston Peters holding the balance of power and ensure a change of government and
direction for New Zealand is to give their Party Vote to ACT," Mr Hide said.
