Kedgley to bring safe food message to Waiheke Island
Green Party Safe Food Spokesperson Sue Kedgley will speak at a public meeting on Waiheke Island this weekend.
Sunday's meeting will discuss why poor diet has become the leading cause of death in New Zealand and what can be done to improve the quality of our food and ensure it is sustainably produced, accurately labelled, drug-free and ethically marketed. Ms Kedgley will speak on 'Why We Need a Food Revolution'. She will be joined by Dr Meriel Watts, author of The Poisoning of New Zealand, who will speak on 'Waiheke's place in the Food Revolution'
