David Benson-Pope
Prime Minister Helen Clark says that Hon David Benson-Pope is today resuming his responsibilities as Minister of
Fisheries and Associate Minister for the Environment, with responsibility for the Resource Management Act Amendment
Bill.
“The Speaker has found that there is no issue of privilege with respect to Mr Benson-Pope.
“Mr Benson-Pope will not return to his duties as Associate Minister of Education while the police inquiry is ongoing,”
Helen Clark said.
