Mr Cullen, Let’s Have Some Real Action
Rt Hon Winston Peters has dismissed the announcement by Attorney General, Hon Michael Cullen, to have the Solicitor General investigate grounds for a High Court application for a new inquest into the death of Kenneth Richards on the Berryman property in 1994, as being “too little too late”.
“The only thing Mr Cullen has to do is order the New Zealand Army to stop their silly secrecy regarding the ‘Butcher’ report and have it released immediately”, said Mr Peters.
“Then, and only then, will the Berrymans have the opportunity to have the truth revealed and justice restored.
It is time for action not further paralysis by analysis”, concluded Mr Peters.
