Dunne to attend Gallipoli celebrations
United Future leader and Ohariu-Belmont MP, Peter Dunne, will attend this year’s celebrations at Gallipoli as part of the official New Zealand delegation being led by the Prime Minister Helen Clark.
“This will be my first visit to Gallipoli and I’m tremendously excited by the prospect of being there on one of the most significant days in the New Zealand calendar,” he said.
Mr Dunne’s grandfather served on the Western Front in Europe during World War I and his father saw military service during World War II.
