This weekend
Sue Bradford will complete the Pacific Visit to New Caledonia, French Polynesia, and Rapa Nui, led by Foreign Affairs Minister Phil Goff.
All week
Keith Locke will be in Manila for the 112th International Parliamentary Union Assembly as part of the New Zealand delegation.
Monday 4 April
11:45am: Nandor Tanczos will speak to an Auckland University politics class about the functions of an MP.
Tuesday 5 April
5.30pm: Rod Donald and Metiria Turei will attend a celebration marking the first anniversary of Maori Television at Turnbull House, 11 Bowen Street, Wellington.
Thursday 7 April
All day: Metiria Turei will take part in the Maori Affairs Select Committee hearing for the Ngaa Rauru Kiitahi Claims Settlement Bill, at the Avenue Motel & Conference Centre, 379 Victoria Avenue, Whanganui.
3.45pm:Mike Ward will speak at the Employers and Manufacturers Association conference about his Waste Minimisation Bill, which sets out ways to reduce waste at source and spreads the responsibility for doing so across all sectors of society. Waipuna Conference Centre, Mt Wellington, Auckland.
4pm: Rod Donald will give a lecture to third-year international relations students about fair/free trade at Unitec in Auckland.
7pm: Sue Kedgley will attend a public meeting to organise opposition to Wellington’s proposed V8 Race. St John’s Hall, Dixon St, Wellington.
Friday 8 April
11.20am: Mike Ward is a keynote speaker at the Zero Waste Conference, and will be giving the closing address on ‘Living like our future depends on it’, Takahanga Marae, Takahanga Terrace, Kaikoura.
Sunday 10 April
9am: Mike Ward will enter Steve Gurney’s ‘Crazy Commuter Bike Race’ in the Blenheim Central Business District.
