ACT President Catherine Judd today announced the selection of seven candidates to stand in Wellington at the general election.
The candidates and the seats they are standing in are:
Dr Simon Ewing-Jarvie - Otaki
Lindsay Mitchell - Hutt South
Stephen Franks MP - Wellington Central
Michael Collins - Mana
Heather Roy MP - Ohariu-Belmont
Gavin Middleton - Rongotai
Ian Gaskin - Rimutaka.
Ms Judd said the key focus of the candidates would be to campaign for the Party Vote.
"Last election ACT received nearly eight percent of the Party Vote in the Wellington region - above our national average. I believe these candidates will do even better," she said.
