NZ First Supports Education Ambassador For Parents
New Zealand First education spokesperson Brian Donnelly has congratulated the Minister of Education, Trevor Mallard, on his home Education Ambassador initiative and believes that the choice of Tana Umaga is an inspired one.
“New Zealand First has always believed that the most critical part of the education equation is the home and has policies to this end,” said Mr Donnelly.
“One criticism we have had of the Labour administration is that it has operated on the belief that all educational solutions are to be found in our schools and pre-schools.
“We wish Tana Umaga all the best in what is an exceptionally important role and believe that there is no one more suited for the job,” said Mr Donnelly.
