Metiria at Makaawhio and Ratana
Green Party Maori Affairs Spokesperson Metiria Turei will be attending two significant events for tangata whenua early next week.
This Sunday she will be at the opening of the Makaawhio Marae at Mahitahi / Bruce Bay in South Westland.
Then on Monday she will be at the annual gathering to mark the birthday of Tahupotiki Wiremu Ratana, founder of the Ratana Church, at Ratana near Wanganui.

Monday, 24 January, 11.00am, goes on to the marae
Ratana Pa, Wanganui district.
