Whose Country Is This?
New Zealand First law and order spokesperson Ron Mark says the latest recruitment drive for Asian 111 emergency call centre staff highlights the ramifications of the Government’s open-door immigration policy.
Mr Mark says he’s stunned by reports that police are looking for more Asian speaking staff to work in their Auckland emergency call centre because Asians may feel more comfortable reporting crime if they can speak to someone in their own language.
“Police can’t even cope with the needs of rural communities and other emergency callers like Iraena Asher who are fluent in English.
“The police move to recruit more Asians in their Auckland call centre confirms New Zealand First’s repeated claims that Auckland is Asia’s latest colony,” said Mr Mark.
