Peters Takes Legal Advice Re Tvnz And Rnz
Rt Hon Winston Peters has taken legal advice in relation to allegations carried by Television New Zealand news bulletins last evening and Radio New Zealand’s morning news today.
TVNZ and Radio New Zealand referred to matters contained in an affidavit apparently signed by Yvonne Teresa Dossetter.
The legal advice that Mr Peters has received is that the so-called “affidavit” would not make it into an episode of the “Sopranos” let alone any court.
This “affidavit” is actually a Television New Zealand document which TVNZ has been sitting on since January this year and has now mysteriously found its way to Parliament.
Mr Peters has instructed his lawyers to take appropriate action against Television New Zealand, Radio New Zealand and others.
