Media Advisory Locke to speak on Zaoui in Dunedin
Green MP Keith Locke will be in Dunedin this Thursday to speak to a public meeting on human rights issues currently facing New Zealand.
The Green Party's Human Rights Spokesperson will talk on 'The Ahmed Zaoui case and other challenges to human rights in the War on Terrorism". The presentation will be followed by a public discussion.
One of the central questions to be addressed will be 'Why is the continued imprisonment of former Algerian MP Ahmed Zaoui a threat to the civil liberties of us all?'
When: 7.30pm, Thursday, 20 May, 2004. Where: The Octagon Club (Lower Octagon).
