Marriage back in fashion
National's Families spokeswoman Judith Collins says it is no surprise that marriage is back in fashion.
Statistics New Zealand data released today shows that last year more people where married than in any year since 1991.
Ms Collins said it is pleasing to see more couples are choosing marriage.
"In an increasingly uncertain world people are looking for more stability in which to raise their families."
