New CEO for United Future New Zealand
United Future has appointed its first Chief Executive Officer, former commercial lawyer, Gina Woodfield.
With rapid growth in party numbers and eight MP’s now in Parliament, United Future needs dedicated management of its
organisational wing, says President Mark Blumsky.
“The party has an active volunteer support network around the country, and the new CEO will provide strategic direction
for that.
“Ongoing development of this wing will ensure United Future continues to deliver policies that support the family, and
helps achieve stable Government after the next election in 2005.”
Gina Woodfield, 29, has held leadership positions within United Future since the party was formed in 2000 including that
of regional chairperson in Auckland and member of the Board of Management.
Prior to accepting the position of CEO, she was a senior solicitor with corporate law firm Chapman Tripp in Auckland.
Mrs Woodfield is excited about the opportunities for development that her new role presents.
“United Future is an exciting political party to be involved with as it plays a pivotal role in New Zealand politics,”
she says.
“It provides realistic solutions to issues in the context of a long term vision for our country.”

Party leader, Peter Dunne, says Mrs Woodfield’s appointment is a significant step in the development of United Future as
it seeks to expand its membership and appeal prior to the next general election.
