Small Business Day Timed Perfectly On Black Friday
"How appropriate it is for the Government to hold Small Business Day on black Friday," says the National Party spokesman for Small Business, Lindsay Tisch.
"Appropriate, because small businesses are facing increasing compliance costs, high taxes and new employment laws which threaten to further erode their bottom lines," says Mr Tisch.
"The Labour Government's transparent charm offensive will do little to ease the burden of regulatory creep, which most businesses have been complaining about with little success.
"Australia's successful free trade deal with the US puts even more pressure on the Government to act urgently to address it's anti-business policies.
"Labour's running the very real risk of losing investment and talent across the Tasman, where there's direct access to the lucrative US market.
"Small businesses need action, not politically correct lip service," says Mr Tisch.
