National welcomes new Family Court judge
National's Associate Justice spokesperson Judith Collins has welcomed the appointment of Judge Peter Boshier as the new Principal Family Court Judge.
"Judge Boshier has a distinguished legal background and wide experience in dealing with young offenders. His experience will be an asset to the Family Court.
"Hopefully Judge Boshier will receive Ministerial support to bring about changes in the Family Court, support that has so far been lacking from Margaret Wilson.
"Family Courts are expected to have the judgement of Solomon, while hampered by a namby-pamby politically-correct Government that views fathers as an unnecessary indulgence," said Ms Collins.
