Cullen All Mouth And No Policy
ACT New Zealand Finance Spokesman Rodney Hide said today that Finance Minister Michael Cullen had again proved himself all mouth and no policy.
"Cullen is a quick wit but that's no substitute for substance.
"Last November Michael Cullen said that he was 'not without options' as the NZ dollar increased against the US. He has since run a mile from detailing what those options might be.
"The dollar has continued to climb but Cullen is nowhere now to be seen or heard.
"Cullen should forget about trying to intervene in the market. He should instead take responsibility for what he can do something about to help business: red tape and excessive taxes," Mr Hide said.
