Self Righteous, Self Serving, Peter Who?

Self Righteous, Self Serving, Peter Who?
Rt Hon Winston Peters has laughed off Peter Dunne’s worst–behaved MPs list, describing it as an attention seeking device from the most ineffective and boring politician in Parliament.
Mr Peters said that United Future had lifted the concepts of self righteousness and self service to such heights with the government that Peter Dunne had become little more than a “political eunuch” in the court of Queen Helen.
“Peter has a long history of going with the flow in politics, even if it meant changing his party five times and switching his policy positions daily. He simply gets used by his old colleagues in Labour to force silly laws down the throats of ordinary New Zealanders.
“Unlike United Future, we in New Zealand First hold the government and its ministers to account for their failures, and we make no apology for doing this in a forceful and direct manner.
“We also do not wander around Wellington in a perpetual state of self delusion promoting ourselves as future prime ministers like Peter. Perhaps he should look at a career change and seek to become someone more interesting and useful, like a train driver on the Johnsonville line,” said Mr Peters.
“However, I do wish him, his colleagues and staff, a Merry Christmas and a less anonymous New Year.”
