Turner: Family breakdown - you do the maths!
United Future's family affairs spokeswoman Judy Turner today challenged Opposition critics of the four-year $28 million budget for the Families Commission to compare it to the $5 billion to $6 billion family breakdown costs this country each year.
"When we look at the cost society already faces, and then look at the Families Commission's potential to strengthen and build families, then I have one thing to say to these critics: You do the maths!"
