Mitchell Should Stay

ACT voters think that John Mitchell should remain as All Black coach, ACT New Zealand Leader Richard Prebble said today.
"In ACT's weekly poll, we asked if the All Black coach should be kept on, and 56 percent of respondents said yes," Mr Prebble said.
"ACT supporters tend to be people who have run their own businesses, and know about management. We are sending this result to the New Zealand Rugby Union.
"It would appear that ACT supporters have taken note of the fact that, when Mr Mitchell was selected as coach, the trophy cabinet was empty. While we have missed out on the trophy we wanted most, ACT supporters remember how much we wanted the Bledisloe Cup, and to win the Tri-Nations," Mr Prebble said.
* ACT keeps its polls open for one week. Anyone who wishes may cast a vote at www.act.org.nz/vote (http://www.act.org.nz/vote) until Sunday night.
Jock Hobbs
Chairman
New Zealand Rugby Union
Dear Mr Hobbs,
In this week's issue of `The Letter' - the nation's largest email newsletter - we gave our readers the opportunity to give their views on the future of All Black coach John Mitchell.
We note one criticism of Mr Mitchell has been PR - perhaps you might like to take into account that 56 percent of those who responded to our poll think he should stay.
I hope this is of assistance,
Regards,
ACT Leader,
Richard Prebble.
