New Zealand Party 20th anniversary
Deborah Coddington, Member of Parliament announced today that she would host a function in November to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the formation of the New Zealand Party.
"The formation of the New Zealand Party is an important part of New Zealand's political history and it is something we should celebrate. It has been 20 years since Sir Robert decided to stand up and be counted, and by doing so he changed the face of politics in this country," said Miss Coddington.
Sir Robert Jones will be the special guest at the function and Chris Trotter, editor, NZ Political Review and political commentator will be the guest speaker.
