Progressives debate Nandor, go mad
United Future leader, Peter Dunne, today called on the Progressive Party’s entire membership, MP’s Jim Anderton and Matt
Robson, to stop debating Green MP, Nandor Tanczos, over cannabis abuse “as the fumes are clearly driving them nuts”.
“As the Progressives gaze into the dustbin of history which is their immediate future, they have been forced to
associate with the self-confessed dopesmoker Tanczos in order to get some desperately-needed publicity,” he said.
“Unfortunately, one of the side-effects of this unwise association is that the Progressives have become mentally
unstable.
“In recent days, Mr Anderton has developed the theory that United Future would somehow kill New Zealand Fashion Week, if
it doesn’t follow Mr Anderton’s demands.
“His faithful lackey, Mr Robson, desperately clinging to Mr Anderton’s coattails in order to hang on to his MP’s salary,
has echoed these bizarre comments, demanding that United Future tell the voters whom they will support after the next
election and implying that support for anyone other than Labour is tantamount to treason.
“This is desperate stuff from two men contemplating political retirement.
“Effectively, both men are demanding that United Future ignore the wishes of the voters at the next election and back
the centre-left, regardless of its popular support.
“Such views are anti-democratic and more fitted to a Stalinist state, rather than the MMP environment that New Zealand
has.
“I can only conclude that the Progressives cuddling up to the dopesmokers has left them mentally deranged and I urge
them to seek immediate professional help,” concluded Mr Dunne.
