Tuesday 28 Oct 2003 Press Releases -- Other
ACT Leader Richard Prebble congratulated Don Brash on his election as Leader of the National party.
"I extend to Bill English my condolences. He is a young man and he could come again.
"ACT has had a good working relationship with Bill English and I am confident we can also work with Mr Brash.
"I am pleased that a period of instability in the National party is now over.
"Good government needs a strong and decisive opposition, and the country needs a long period of centre-right government," said Mr Prebble.
