2003 Children's Food Awards: GE Genie
Nestle's Milo has been inadvertently presented as a winner of the GE Genie Award at the 2003 Children's Food Awards, as voted by New Zealand parents.
We have received assurances from Nestle that they do not use any genetically engineered ingredients in Milo and we are delighted to inform parents that Milo is indeed GE free. For this reason we withdrew their nomination from the Awards.
The correct result is as follows:
GE GENIE Presented by
Stasi Turnball, MAdGE
Inghams Chicken Nuggets
We apologise for any inconvenience and concern this may have caused.
