New Zealand First Celebrates Success
New Zealand First’s 10th annual convention will be held this weekend in Christchurch.
“This is an exciting time for New Zealand First and its growing membership base and is a time for us to reflect on our origins, to assess our progress, and to plan for the future,” said New Zealand First Leader Rt Hon Winston Peters.
“The primary theme of our convention is overcoming adversity to celebrate success, something which New Zealand First knows intimately.
“We look forward to the presentations by our diverse group of guest speakers, Bruce Logan (The Family and Civil Society), New Zealand’s entrepreneur of the year, Caron Taurima, and former Commonwealth Games hero and successful businessman Dick Tayler. We have no doubt that these speakers will encourage New Zealand First Party members and its MPs to continue to work towards our principles and policies becoming enshrined in New Zealand’s legislation.
“New Zealand First will provide a real alternative for voters at the next election and will build further on the excellent gains made at and the 2002 general election,” said Mr Peters.
