Brash To Address ACT Meeting

ACT New Zealand President Catherine Judd today expressed her delight that National Party Finance Spokesman Dr Don Brash will address the ACT Upper South Regional Conference at Christchurch's George Hotel on Saturday September 27.
"ACT is eager to continue discussing how we might work more closely with National and other parties - or individuals - that share similar values, to provide an alternative to the current authoritarian Clark-Cullen Government," Ms Judd said.
"Having Dr Brash speak at this weekend's conference is another step forward in building our relationship with the National Party.
"I am also delighted that local Cantabrians Diana Isaac, Ruth Richardson, Neil Birss and Alexis Stuart are taking part in the conference. Ms Richardson will speak about lessons for New Zealand from the work she and ACT co-founder Sir Roger Douglas did as part of the Reform Britain Project earlier this year.
"ACT Leader Richard Prebble, MPs Ken Shirley, Rodney Hide, Deborah Coddington, Stephen Franks, Gerry Eckhoff and Heather Roy will also address the conference," Ms Judd said.
