Hobbs confirms RMA Unworkable
ACT Leader Richard Prebble said today that the Labour government's intention to fast track the Resource Management Act's decision-making process is confirmation of what ACT has been saying for years.
"All the government is proving by side-stepping the Resource Management Act and fast-tracking Project Aqua is what ACT has stated from the outset - the resource management provisions, which small business have to struggle with continually, are unworkable.
"If the government wants to accept that the RMA needs reforms, that would be progress," Mr Prebble said.
