Where is Michael Carroll?

Where is Michael Carroll?
National MP Gerry Brownlee is furious that serial rapist Michael Carroll has fled the Christchurch half-way house he was living in.
Police launched a hunt for the convicted rapist around 8 o'clock last night. Carroll has been living in Christchurch since a public outcry forced him to leave Wellington last month.
"This five-time rapist is a danger to society and it's inconceivable that he was ever released from prison in the first place," says Mr Brownlee.
"If he's on the loose, Christchurch people have a right to be concerned.
Carroll was paroled in February despite being turned down twice previously.
"If he's breached his parole conditions, he's blown all his chances and must be recalled," says Mr Brownlee.
"Warnings were sounded by Corrections Department staff last month, when they described his parole conditions as "standard stuff for a great deal of inmates."
These conditions included Carroll staying at a specified address and undertaking psychological counselling.
"People have a right to be fearful when they hear that dangerous offenders like Carroll are on the street. They've had a gutsful of case after case of failed parole conditions," says Mr Brownlee.
