Leader Rt Hon Winston Peters and law and order spokesperson Ron Mark will announce the strategy at a press conference tomorrow: 11am Friday 30 May 2003 at the Calder Mackay 3 Room, The Heritage Hotel, 11 Wyndham Street, Auckland.
Mr Peters said that the time had come to make communities safe for law-abiding citizens and to ensure that police had the resources they need to meet community expectations.
The New Zealand First Leader will also be speaking about the plan to a meeting of South Auckland Grey Power, Town Hall, Old Papatoetoe at 1.45pm.
