Have National-ACT seen the light in supporting partnership and active government now?
A series of releases from ACT and National recently calling on the government to work in partnership with the tourism
industry and to put more money into biosecurity and welfare suggest they have seen the light on cooperation,
constructive partnerships and active government, Matt Robson MP said today.
"I congratulate Pansy Wong for suggesting that the government support the tourism industry through the difficulties
caused by the SARS problem.
"Investing in the tourism industry in not something we hear her talking about a lot but this government works in
cooperative partnerships with industry to boost the economy and it works. Pansy Wong must have finally realised this and
decided the government should indeed work cooperatively with business.

with training, skills and support in gaining employment.
