Labour Dumbs Down Growth

Labour Dumbs Down Growth
ACT Leader Richard Prebble said that instead of trying to take credit for the smart growth of the private sector, Labour MPs should be taking action to stop the dumb growth in the Government sector.
"Under Labour the amount of dumb red tape and regulations has grown. The number of dumb taxes has increased by $9 billion, and Government energy generators have been so dumb we are faced with power cuts.
It is just dumb that hospital waiting lists continue to grow. The numbers on Social Welfare benefits are also growing. And the number of criminals and crime continues to grow.
I think that the New Zealand public is smart enough to realise that the Government has very little to do with smart growth but is responsible for most of the dumb statistics.
