Migration Figures Confirm The Worst: Peters
“Figures released today confirm the takeover of New Zealand,” New Zealand First leader Winston Peters said.
“While New Zealanders continue to leave the country in large numbers net migration figures for non New Zealanders reached a record influx of 56,200 in the March 2003 period. This represents an increase of 89% over the same period in 2001.
“The change in population as a result of New Zealanders leaving and foreigners arriving represents a city the size of Palmerston North. It won’t take long at this rate for New Zealand to be unrecognisable. It is little wonder that the incompetent Immigration Minister cannot tell us who is here, where from, or what for.
“Statistics New Zealand’s figures demonstrate a huge demographic change, the social and cultural implications of which will echo through the years. This may be the last chance to address this issue,” Mr Peters said.
