NZ First Mps To Visit Refugee Resettlement Centre
Four New Zealand First MPs will be visiting the Mangere Refugee Resettlement Centre on Sunday 9th March 2003 at 10.00am.
Dail Jones, Brent Catchpole, Craig McNair and Pita Paraone will visit the facility to see it for themselves and to obtain a first hand idea of the programme.
The visit is anticipated to take at least one and a half hours.
In the period from 26 September 2001 to 17 December 2001,159 asylum seekers were detained at the Mangere Refuge Resettlement Centre as follows:
