Out Of Control Immigration
Figures released today prove that immigration is out of control with an increase of 30 percent of new migrants in the year ended 31 October 2002.
“Over 70,000 permanent and long-term migrants arrived in that period. What happened to the Government’s original figure of 45,000 new migrants? Asked Rt Hon Winston Peters.
“They have actively involved themselves in the deception of the public again.
“These figures totally disprove the Government’s argument of the last few days that they have been attending to this problem since last April. No wonder they don’t want to have question time in the House and have denied a debate on this issue twice this week,” said Mr Peters.
