ACT Leader Richard Prebble said today that imitation was indeed the most sincere form of flattery, after receiving a press release from Mr Peters claiming that Margaret Wilson is copying his shop trading amendment bill.
"Mr Peter has neglected to mention that the bill is actually ACT MP Rodney Hide's .
"It also slipped his mind to point out that in another NZ First press statement released yesterday - his party announced that their principal policy proposal for their annual conference was whether to adopt a "zero tolerance approach to crime".
"If imitation really is flattery - then Mr Peters is being extraordinarily nice to the Act party," Mr Prebble said.
