Police Better Be Better

Police Better Be Better
The police better make sure they can be at Paul McIntyre's house in the few minutes it might take an attacker to break in, ACT Justice Spokesman Stephen Franks said today.
"If it takes the three hours it took last time, it could be a waste of time.
"Mr McIntyre was ordered to surrender his firearms as a bail term. He is without the means to protect himself and his farm. Local farmers have said they will step in because it is immoral to leave Mr McIntyre in this situation after he has been threatened. The court has told the world and Northland criminals that Mr McIntyre is defenceless. Can the police guarantee they will respond quickly enough to emergency calls from him or any other farmers?
"If the police sought this bail condition they should pay for security guards, instead of forcing locals to step into the gap," Stephen Franks said.
