New Zealand First Convention
Auckland 9 & 10 November
New Zealand First is holding its 10th annual convention in Auckland this weekend. The convention will be at The Lounge, Alexandra Park Raceway, Epsom from 9.45am on both Saturday and Sunday.
Issues to be discussed include the targeting of ‘entry level’ crime, adopting a policy of zero tolerance for crimes committed against property or person and consideration of the appropriateness of current laws with respect to the punishment of children.
Also being considered are ways to end the grievance industry around the Treaty of Waitangi and initiating a public enquiry into the operations of elements of the New Zealand Immigration industry.
A wide range of remits is to be considered by the full convention.
We look forward to discussions on how New Zealand First can achieve the implementation of its policies and influencing policies that lead to positive economic and social change in New Zealand.
Guest speakers include Pauline Gardiner, Susan Baragwanath and Jim Hopkins.
The leader, Rt Hon Winston Peters will address the convention at 1.35pm on Sunday 10 November.
