Credit Cards OK for Civil Service
ACT Leader Richard Prebble said that giving civil servants credit cards to pay for expenses is a sensible idea.
"The opposition party's criticism doesn't appear to me to be rational.
"Of course civil servants as employees do have employee related expenses. Using credit cards is a cost effective way of accurate account tracking.
The private sector has been using credit cards for employee related expenses for many years. Why shouldn't the civil service join the modern world?" said Mr Prebble.
