Insider Group Paper Trail Leads to Government
There’s a fresh demand today for the Government to release all the paperwork attached to Dr Ross Armstrong’s so called “insider group”.
“We now know by Dr Armstrong’s own admission, that this draft document was given to Government before being released,” says National’s acting leader Roger Sowry.
On last night’s Holmes Television show Dr Armstrong said “this was a draft document which then proceeded to Government and then proceeded into the public consultation area.”
“This flies in the face of claims from Dr Michael Cullen that no paperwork exists on the subject,” says Mr Sowry.
“It’s time that Labour came clean and told us who was involved and when? Tell us who the draft document was sent to and who approved it?
“This has the Prime Minister’s fingerprints all over it, it was okay while the matter was being kept secret, but as soon as the news broke, Dr Armstrong was cut adrift,” says Mr Sowry
