UNHCR director visiting New Zealand
The Director of International Protection for the UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) Erika Feller, is in Wellington, New Zealand, Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 October.
She is in New Zealand to attend the International Association of Refugee Law Judges Conference in Wellington. She is delivering a keynote address to the Conference.
Erika Feller is available for some media interviews.
The Geneva-based director offers a unique perspective of her work and that of UNHCR, on a global level. She works closely with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Ruud Lubbers. Erika Feller is able to discuss the international effort to manage refugee and humanitarian issues, and New Zealand’s contribution to that effort.
