Just how serious is United Future
Hon Roger Sowry - National Deputy Leader
National’s Transport spokesperson Roger Sowry welcomes the suggestion of United Future MP Larry Baldock that the Government should invest more in roading, but wants to see what action he takes to back his words.
“If United Future really believes this then they can tell the Government they won’t back them on confidence and supply unless they resolve the growing problem of roading maintenance.
“United Future has a perfect opportunity to regain the credibility they lost when the Government walked all over them with their original agreement.
“I challenge Larry Baldock to show that he means what he says as if he is really serious about sorting out roading infrastructure then he can do it,” says Mr Sowry.
